On May 26th, CheckM8 Shoes in WillowParkVillage, Calgary hosted a lively evening event to support Youville Women's Residence. Youville provides residential treatment and counselling for women who are recovering from domestic abuse, substance abuse and are fighting mental health challenges. (www.youville.net). The event, hosted by City TV's Judy Gabriel, featured an exclusive fashion show, live entertainment, cocktails, delicious food and an incredible shopping experience for the 60 people in attendance. Montreal designer MISS MAK attended the event, taking special orders from the fashionistas. (www.missmak.net.) The evening proved to be a tremendous success raising $1000.00 for Youville.
