Hello everyone! Now that my Mother’s Day “month” is over, I suppose it is time to acknowledge the man in my life. He is a great Dad, so for me, the beginning of June will be about spending time with my kids to think of the perfect Father’s Day celebration.
This may be my own personal pet-peeve, but I always feel that my husband needs a new pair of shoes. Okay, I will admit that he hardly ever goes shoe shopping and may not appreciate a new pair of shoes as much as I would, but I am still going to buy him a pair for Father’s Day. I will go to his favourite shoe store, Clarks England, to find the perfect pair!
One thing I always do for my husband on Father’s Day, and any other special occasion, is make a beautiful and delicious meal. Without a doubt, his favourite dinner consists of a nice, hearty steak and a few potatoes. We rarely eat meat that isn’t from Urban Butcher – their cuts are unparalleled! Did you know that all their meats are free-range and steroid free?
This year, I’ve decided to try something a little different for a Father’s Day surprise. While shopping in Willow Park Village, I noticed that Skoah was offering a ‘Dad’s Day Pack.’ For only $115, “my kids” got their Dad a mancial facial and luxury face lotion. I love the idea of treating him to something he’d never get for himself. Dads need facials too, you know! The package also includes a soothing neck & beard treatment to reduce redness and eliminate ingrown hairs, which I think is great!
