Falling into Fall Fashion
No one wants to say it, but we all know it’s coming – the end of summer. I can’t believe it either! I’m determined to the beat the summertime sadness by refreshing my wardrobe.
To be honest, I don’t think it’s ever too early to start building up your wardrobe for the season ahead. Although the latest trends don’t always emerge until the season gets underway, it’s always good to get a head start with a few key staples. With that in mind, I figured I’d let you in on a few of my favourite Willow Park Village fashion destinations.
It can be tough to coordinate our busy schedules, but I’m planning to get a group of girlfriends together sometime this month for a shopping night. One of the great things about the fashion shops in Willow Park Village is that they cater to all shapes and sizes of women.
I always end up taking something home from First Class Fashions or Erin’s Boutique, which are conveniently side-by-side. Just a bit further down is Fashion Addition 14+, and since I’m on the petite side, I’ll often have my new pieces hemmed at Marianna’s Alterations. On my list? A good pair of skinny jeans, a cardigan for layering and a new scarf.
With summer coming to an end, that also means 55 Days of Summer at Willow Park Village is winding down. In case you’re just hearing of it now, I’ll give you a quick rundown: for 55 days this summer, Willow Park Village is featuring one shop per day on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.
At the end of every week, viewers can tune in to Breakfast Television Calgary for a preview of what’s up for grabs from the week’s featured shops in an exclusive gift basket.
Thanks for stopping by again – enjoy the rest of your summer and see you in September! I’ll be back then with some tips for making back-to-school as easy as possible.
