After dropping off the kids at a Halloween celebration this past weekend, my hubby Dave and I decided to make a spontaneous trip to Willow Park Village to pick up a few items. Although my husband is a bit of a reluctant shopper, I think he actually likes coming to WPV with me – even though he would never admit it.
Whenever we head over to the village, we always stop and grab a bit to eat first (here’s a tip: a hungry man is never a pleasant shopper). Since Dave would literally eat steak for breakfast, lunch and dinner if he could, Caesar’s Steakhouse was the obvious choice for lunch.
After stuffing ourselves to the brim, it only seemed fitting we get a head start on our 2017 fitness goals, so we headed over to First Class Fitness Equipment. We’ve been thinking about getting a new treadmill for a while, so it was helpful to finally try out a few models firsthand.
Naturally, our next destination was Lammle’s Western Wear and Tack since Dave seems to think he’s a real-life, legitimate cowboy. He picked up a new pair of cowboy boots and a hat to complete his last-minute Halloween costume for Monday night. Although, I don’t think he would mind wearing it year-round!
This year, Dave and his colleagues are taking part in Movember to raise awareness and funds for men’s health and will be growing out their facial hair. I managed to convince Dave that a hair trim and shave would give him a fresh slate for the month ahead. Dario’s Barbershop made sure he looked dapper and set him off on the right foot.
Well, I can hear my kids calling for me, so I better go. I hope to see you and your guy around the village soon!

P.S. I’ve heard that Willow Park Village will be hosting an enchanting holiday celebration on November 24th from 5-8 p.m. There will be free hot chocolate, a few of Santa’s furry friends and free gift wrapping with purchase. Stay tuned for more information!
