Spring 2019 Fashion Trends

With the days getting longer and double-digit temperatures in the forecast, it is time to put away the chunky knit sweaters and make room for a spring refresh. We visited some of our favourite shops in Willow Park Village—Armadio by Delia, Studio Blue, and Aldila Boutique— to get the inside scoop on spring fashion.

Here are the top three spring fashion trends of 2019:

1. Bold Prints

The bolder, the better—this is the mantra for the season. Armadio by Delia has a great selection of vibrant and playful prints. We love this gorgeous art-deco inspired jacket paired with the leopard print clutch—don’t be afraid to mix patterns! Combined with stackable accessories and neutral heels, it is a fun look for a night out on the town!

2. Wide Leg Pants

Skinny jeans, move over! Wide leg pants have made a triumphant return this season. This 70’s-inspired trend is comfortable and versatile—perfect for a casual outing or laid-back beach vacation. Studio Blue is embracing the season’s trend with these Pistache linen wide leg pants. The flowy, neutral base pairs perfectly with this striped cotton blouse from Hilary Radley for Katherine Barclay—all available at Studio Blue in Willow Park Village.

3. Bright Colours

Turquoise, yellow and neon pink—bold colours are back in a big way this season. Aldila Boutique has a great selection of colourful prints and unique items to brighten up your wardrobe. This vintage-style blouse from Dolcezza gives a pop of color to any outfit. Complete the look with these unique Dolcezza hand-painted jeans and playful accessories.
